The Ballet Nights Spring 2026 Masterclasses are designed for young dancers to strengthen classical foundations while developing versatility, artistry, and confidence.


Dancers will train across a rich and varied programme, including: Classical Ballet with live music, Contemporary, Lyrical & Jazz. Repertoire taught directly from Ballet Nights productions and shows. These masterclasses offer a rare opportunity to receive personalised coaching and individual corrections, and explore repertoire straight from the Ballet Nights stage.

Nahum Mclean

Commercial Jazz

Nahum McLean is a London-based choreographer and dance artist whose career spans some of the world’s most iconic stages, including Lincoln Center, Royal Albert Hall, and Sadler’s Wells.

 

Trained at Prodanza Ballet Academy in Havana and The Ailey School in New York, he has performed with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Ballet Laura Alonso, New York Dance Lab, and Richard Alston Dance Company.

 

His screen and stage credits include West Side Story (international tour), Inala – A Zulu Ballet (West End), and films Barbie and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. He is Co-Founder of BlacBrik and Founder of ADDA, championing culturally rooted contemporary dance.

Tania Fairbairn

Classical Ballet

Tania Fairbairn, trained at Arts Educational School, Tring, and the Royal Ballet School Teacher Training Course, earning Dip.RBS(TTC), B.Phil (Hons) in Dance (Durham University), ARAD, and FISTD (Cecchetti). She performed with Scottish Ballet, Northern Ballet Theatre, and London Ballet Theatre, and appeared in West End productions including The Phantom of the Opera, 42nd Street, and On Your Toes.

 

A renowned international ballet teacher, she taught for many years at the Royal Ballet School and Central School of Ballet, where she was Head of Junior School. Her character choreography has been performed at the Royal Opera House, Opera Holland Park, and the Linbury Theatre, alongside extensive international teaching and guest ballet master roles across Europe.

Jordan James Bridge

Contemporary

Jordan James Bridge is a multi-award-winning choreographer and performer working across dance, film, and fashion. He has been a company artist with Wayne McGregor (seven years), Michael Clark Company, Alexander Whitley Dance Company, and Tavaziva Dance.

 

His work spans major stages and global platforms including The Royal Ballet at the Roundhouse, English National Opera, BBC Two, COS at Pitti Uomo, Google Arts & Culture, ABBA Voyage, Disney’s The Marvels, and Milan Fashion Week with Moschino. His award-winning dance films include Us, Locked Down, and PARASITE.

 

In 2024, he created Falling into Jupiter for Győri Ballet and received a National Dance Award nomination.

Constance Devernay-Laurance

Pointe and Repertoire 

Constance Devernay-Laurence is a Principal dancer, actor, and coach based in London, currently performing with London City Ballet and formerly a Principal of Scottish Ballet. Trained at the Cannes Rosella Hightower School and English National Ballet School, she has performed leading roles worldwide and worked with choreographers including Alexei Ratmansky, Crystal Pite, William Forsythe, Kenneth MacMillan, and Christopher Bruce.

 

Her awards include the 2022 Critics’ Circle National Dance Award for Coppélia. On screen, she appears in Amazon Prime’s Étoile, performing a featured solo she now teaches in masterclasses. A dedicated mentor, she co-directs Ballet Grand Prix and teaches internationally, integrating ballet, coaching, and yoga.

From the station, the easiest connection is to take the Metrolink tram to Old Trafford.

By Bus:

The nearest bus stops are along Talbot Road, close to Brian Statham Way, including:

  • Old Trafford Cricket Ground (Talbot Road) (short walk to the venue)

  • Talbot Road (near Brian Statham Way)

Walking Directions (from Old Trafford Metrolink Stop):

  1. Exit Old Trafford Metrolink

  2. Cross the tram line and walk down Brian Statham Way
