JAMIEL LAURENCE
Executive Producer
Jamiel Laurence is a Choreographer & Award Winning Filmmaker, retiring from SCOTTISH BALLET as a soloist in 2021 after 12 years performing internationally with the company.
For BALLET NIGHTS, Jamiel is bringing together his knowledge and experience across several of his positions held within the wider dance economy - including as an internationally touring performer, as Project Manager of the Lanterns Studio Theatre venue, as Founder of the #FundFreelanceDance initiative and as an independent Creator & Producer.

HENRY DOWDEN
Co-Producer
Henry Dowden is a First Artist of the English National Ballet and Founder & Director of https://onlineballetportal.com
Henry is also a first time Co-Producer for BALLET NIGHTS and has brought his industry knowledge, network of artistic contacts and international theatrical touring experience to bear on a project for which he feels passionate.

LANTERNS STUDIO THEATRE
Host Venue
The Lanterns Studio Theatre, located at South Quay, Canary Wharf, offers a prime and unique open theatrical space fit for not only rehearsal and performance, but also for conferencing, presentations, concerts and productions on both a large and smaller scale with over 900 square metres of adaptable, acoustically insulated space.
Lanterns will host the Launch of BALLET NIGHTS as the venue providing audiences with a new, bespoke experience in watching Classical Ballet, Neo-Classical Ballet and Contemporary dance up close and without compromise.

THE LOCKDOWN ROOM

The Lockdown Room was born back in March 2020 when the UK went into its first national Lockdown & The Espresso Room site within the English National Ballet was forced to close. Amongst all the panic & uncertainty, we were determined to continue our newly launched ‘COVID friendly’ contactless grocery delivery service to the residents of London City Island.
After a few frantic phone calls to the developers, EcoWorld Ballymore saved the day and gave us the keys to an empty retail unit on Hopewell Square… and so The Lockdown Room was born!
The Lockdown Room will play a key role in the development BALLET NIGHTS going forards, and for our launch will be providing a carefully handpicked selection of Craft Beer, Wines and a Gin Pop-Up!
