MEET THE TEAM

Nahum Mclean
Contemporary
Nahum McLean is a London-based choreographer and dance artist whose career spans some of the world’s most iconic stages, including Lincoln Center, Royal Albert Hall, and Sadler’s Wells.
Trained at Prodanza Ballet Academy in Havana and The Ailey School in New York, he has performed with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Ballet Laura Alonso, New York Dance Lab, and Richard Alston Dance Company.
His screen and stage credits include West Side Story (international tour), Inala – A Zulu Ballet (West End), and films Barbie and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. He is Co-Founder of BlacBrik and Founder of ADDA, championing culturally rooted contemporary dance.

Isabelle Brouwers
Classical Ballet
Isabelle Brouwers is an international dancer, educator, and cultural leader trained at The Royal Ballet School and English National Ballet School, where she won the Silver Medal at the Genée (Fonteyn) International Ballet Competition. She joined English National Ballet in 2014, performing leading roles on major stages including the Paris Opera, Bolshoi Theatre, Sadler’s Wells, and Royal Albert Hall, and in works by Akram Khan (Giselle – original cast), Pina Bausch, William Forsythe, and Derek Deane.
Alongside her performance career, Isabelle is an award-winning educator and leader, a former ENB Dance Leader of the Future, trustee of London Vocational Ballet School, RAD Graduate Teaching Diploma holder (Distinction), and a writer for Dance Europe and Tanz.

Sophie Macintosh
Jazz & Lyrical
Born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, Sophie McIntosh trained extensively in classical ballet, contemporary and jazz, performing and competing internationally.
After graduating in 2013, she received a full scholarship to the Joffrey Ballet School in New York and was offered places at several leading dance institutions. Around this time, Sophie discovered a passion for screen acting after being cast as Honour Aleni in the iconic New Zealand series Shortland Street.
Since then, she has built an international career working across film, television and theatre, appearing in music videos, feature films and stage productions in New Zealand, the US and the UK, most recently starring in No Way Up and making her UK stage debut with the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Matthew John Gregory
Pianist
Matthew John Gregory is a freelance ballet pianist with over 19 years’ experience, working across classes, rehearsals, auditions, and performance. He began his career at Doreen Bird College under the mentorship of former Rambert Dance Company music director Nick Mojsiejenko, before freelancing across London.
Matthew regularly works with leading companies and institutions including English National Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Ballet Black, Rambert Dance Company, Studio Wayne McGregor, DV8 Physical Theatre, Michael Clark Company, Northern Ballet, The Royal Ballet School, English National Ballet School, Central School of Ballet, and London Contemporary Dance School. He is also co-host of The Ballet Piano Podcast, an internationally listened-to platform exploring the art of dance accompaniment.

Constance Devernay-Laurance
Pointe and Repertoire
Constance Devernay-Laurence is a Principal dancer, actor, and coach based in London, currently performing with London City Ballet and formerly a Principal of Scottish Ballet. Trained at the Cannes Rosella Hightower School and English National Ballet School, she has performed leading roles worldwide and worked with choreographers including Alexei Ratmansky, Crystal Pite, William Forsythe, Kenneth MacMillan, and Christopher Bruce.
Her awards include the 2022 Critics’ Circle National Dance Award for Coppélia. On screen, she appears in Amazon Prime’s Étoile, performing a featured solo she now teaches in masterclasses. A dedicated mentor, she co-directs Ballet Grand Prix and teaches internationally, integrating ballet, coaching, and yoga.

In March 2026, we embark on our first-ever UK tour, bringing our acclaimed format to the Opera House Manchester, Theatre Royal Brighton, and Richmond Theatre, followed by our October landing at Darlington Hippodrome.
Audiences will experience a uniquely curated programme spanning classical favourites, modern masterpieces, emerging talent, and brand-new creations that redefine what a dance show can be, with additional venues and dates soon to be announced.
