Ballet Nights arrives in Hull for the first time — the next stop on a UK tour already seen in London, Manchester, Brighton, Richmond, Leicester, Leeds, Glasgow and Darlington, and at the Edinburgh Fringe. One night only, as always: a night of dance that exists once, and is remembered long after.

This Hull debut brings the UK touring debut of Lou Beyne & Jaat Benoot, stars of Les Ballets de Monte Carlo, to the city for the first time — a rare chance to see two internationally celebrated dancers from one of Europe's most respected companies on a Hull stage. They're joined by Emerging Dancers of English National Ballet Yihan Qin and Zai Calliste, along with Alessandra Bramante & George Liang, soloists of Northern Ballet, bringing the UK’s leading companies home to a Yorkshire audience.

International voices continue with B.DANCE, Taiwan's celebrated voice in dance innovation, marking a landmark moment for the platform's mission to bring world-class dance beyond London and into the UK's regional cities. Contemporary dance is brought sharply into focus with James Wilton Dance, the powerhouse company and social media sensation known for its raw physicality and genre-defying choreography, alongside Guy Salim, worldwide creative, choreographer and dance artist.

New creation is platformed through a new Ballet Nights commission by Liam Woodvine & Taylor Hughes, supported by The Abderrahim Crickmay Charitable Settlement, while Ballet Central represents the new futures shaping the artform's next generation.

Ballet Nights welcomes Jamie Body as Host & Compère for the evening.
