BALLET NIGHTS
EDINBURGH FRINGE

Ballet Nights arrives at the Edinburgh Fringe for the very first time with a limited-edition, one-act version of the global dance sensation redefining how audiences experience ballet and live performance.

Created to bring dance closer to the people it belongs to, Ballet Nights celebrates world-class artists, emerging voices and new creative discoveries in one intimate, high-impact format. Hosted with warmth, insight and theatrical flair, each performance invites audiences beyond the usual boundaries of ballet - into the stories, personalities and physical brilliance of the artists themselves.
For seven performances only at the Assembly Rooms Music Hall, this special Fringe edition brings together international dance stars, contemporary innovators and Scotland-connected talent in a mixed programme of thrilling short works.

Featuring star of London City Ballet and former Principal of Northern Ballet Joseph Taylor, Olivier-nominated Principal of Northern Ballet Sarah Chun, choreographic contemporary fusion sensation Ekleido performing their iconic Splice, a new commission from Scotland’s own PCK Dance danced by Glasgow’s Amy McEntee, acclaimed work by choreographer Jordan James Bridge performed by Leila Wright, and Ballet Nights Music Awardee Dominic Stokes on viola.

Hosted by dance entrepreneur, Ballet Nights founder and former Scottish Ballet soloist Jamiel Devernay-Laurence, this is a new way to celebrate dance at the Fringe: world-class, immediate, human, and unforgettable.
